William Goldfinch

William M. Goldfinch IV

Branch Manager Financial Advisor

William serves clients with reasonable investment expectations who value the relationship they have with him and appreciate the opinions of his practice. At the end of the day, his clients are in charge of their finances, but he encourages open-mindedness and collaborative planning toward their goals. He wants clients to enjoy the process while ignoring distractions and reaching a position where they feel comfortable with the long-term affordability of their lifestyle.

Prior to joining Raymond James, William was a financial advisor with Edward Jones. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and finance.

On a day-to-day basis, William places the needs of his clients above his own. He is very matter-of-fact, treating each client with the same openness and respect as he would his own mother. He spends his time ensuring that his clients’ custom-tailored financial plans are carried out in accordance with their long-term goals and wishes. You can also find his four-legged friend and office boss, Bandit the Bernedoodle, patrolling the office to make sure things get done smoothly.

Outside the office, William is active in his local community. He is a member of Conway City Council, president of The Waccamaw Sertoma Club, past president of The Conway Education Foundation, former advisory board member of Coastal Carolina National Bank, current board member of the Conway Chamber of Commerce and Conway Downtown Alive, and lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Conway.

In his spare time, William enjoys the outdoors with his boys, Mac and Sam, and his wife, Sallie, whether hunting, fishing, traveling or trying exotic foods. He’s lived in Conway, South Carolina his whole life other than his time in college.
